This post is for all the up and coming producers out there. DON’T GIVE UP!!! Always be on your grind; even when you don’t feel up to it. At Dre and Josh Music Group LLC., we constantly experience the uninvited rollercoster effect that this industry so often brings however, we adapt, regroup, and follow the gameplan. Quite often we hear of other unknown producers who are negatively effected by “the runaround” and how, over time, the once roaring fire has turned into a small flame. THIS IS FOR YOU!!! Dre and Josh AND Sebastian Mego ? UH OH!!! Houston we've got a PROBLEM. Dre and Josh have been working on some hits with Sebastian Mego of Sirri Records [Chauncy Jackson] for Sebastian's debut album. "We're really pushing the envelope and trying to let our sound come through on these records" says Josh. Look for these hot records in the Spring of '10

While the main focus of Dre and Josh Music Group is geared towards Logic Studio, we always have to show love to other mainstays in the production world. Find tips, trick and links to much more informative sites and resources. You ever listen to a record and wonder how they created a crazy effect or how their mixes sound so pristine ? While Auto-Tune has taken the front seat to many audio editing software packages, there is so much to gain by tapping into other great resources. The best example is MELODYNE!!! DO WE USE IT??? HECK YEAH !!! Melodyne software is at home in all the great studios of the world and can be heard on countless productions. We just want to give honor to where its due. What better way to do it than through fashion, expression, and swag. Right before his tragic death, news came out that DJ AM had been working with Nike on a Dunk sneaker collection. Today we can show you some detailed images of one of them. The Nike Dunk High Premium Quickstrike “DJ AM” comes in a black/red colorway with reflective 3M accents. The red comes in regular premium leather and the black comes in patent leather.


It was like love at first sight! I know from the way she looked at me. Her eyes said it all. Long days and nights we spent. Until she dropped the bomb on me. THE MC CONTROL !!! Ladies and Gentlemen, holding the number-one spot on the wish list the MC Control by Euphonix. While we don't own one as of yet, we've definitely grown to appreciate what Euphonix has done with this affordable new DAW unit.     "I met Dre & Josh thru "Myspace." I was in search of
    production and came across their profile. I reached out to
    them & they got back to me."

    3. What have you guys worked on together ?

    "We've worked on alot of great music!!! We started out just
    building a catalog, not too focused on any particular artist
    or genre. Today we continue to do the same."

    4. How long have you known Dre and Josh ?

    "I have known Dre & Josh for about a year now. But our
    chemistry would have you thinking we've known each
    other forever! "

    5. What was your first impression of Dre and Josh ?

    "My first impression of Dre & Josh was that they were very
    motivated. They wanted to work and so did I. We fit
    perfectly!"

    6. How well do you work together ?

    "We work very well together! We listen to each other, we
    trust each other, we're a family. Our relationship is beyond
    music. Dre & Josh are great people, not just great
    producers."

    7. Would you categorize them as beatmakers or
    producers ?

    "Dre & Josh are definitely PRODUCERS!!! They go beyond
    just making the beats. They write, arrange, sing, engineer!
    They are truly the full package."

    8. Where would you say you see Dre and Josh in a
    year from now ?

    "A year from now I see Dre & Josh very established in the
    music industry."

    9. How would you describe their sound ?

    "I would describe Dre & Josh's sound as very unique. Their
    music doesn't fit in, it stands out."

    10. What would you like others to know about Dre
    and Josh Music Group ?

    "Dre & Josh's drive & determination makes DJMusic
    Group. And you soon will see just how far it's going to
    take them. There's nothing they can't do. They're
